Commercial warranty

The commercial warranty is provided by TIIN S.R.L., Str. Nerva Traian nr. 27-33, Sc. B, Et. 1, Birou 6, Sector 3, 031044 București. It covers functional defects that appear during the warranty period, with no cost to you for labour, parts or transport. The length in months is shown on each laptop’s page and in the order confirmation, and runs from the delivery date.

The battery is covered for function; normal capacity wear is not a defect.

The commercial warranty also applies to business buyers (companies and the self-employed).

What it does not cover

• physical damage after delivery (impacts, drops, cracked screen, forced hinges);
• faults caused by liquids, moisture or power surges;
• repairs or interventions by anyone other than us or a service centre we appoint;
• software problems, viruses and loss of data;
• normal wear: the natural loss of battery capacity and signs of use that appear after delivery.

The commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity described below and in the Terms and conditions.

Legal guarantee of conformity

If you are a consumer, you also benefit free of charge from the legal guarantee of conformity under OUG no. 140/2021: we are liable for any lack of conformity existing at delivery that becomes apparent within the liability period of 2 years from delivery. Although for second-hand goods the law allows this period to be shortened by agreement (but not below 1 year), we do not shorten it.

You are entitled to free repair or replacement. If neither is possible or it is not done within a reasonable time (no longer than 15 calendar days), you can ask for a price reduction or terminate the contract and get your money back. Details are in the Legal guarantee of conformity section of the Terms and conditions.

The legal guarantee applies independently of the commercial warranty. When you report a problem you do not have to choose between them: we apply whichever is more favourable to you.

How to claim

1. Email us at contact@siphertip.com or message us on WhatsApp at +40 756 571 839 with the laptop code (e.g. ST-00421) or order number and a description of the problem. A photo or short video helps.
2. We confirm receipt and arrange a free courier pickup.
3. We diagnose the laptop and keep you updated. We repair or replace it within 15 calendar days of receiving it, except in justified cases, which we explain to you.

Back up your data before sending the laptop; we are not responsible for data left on it.
